(June 15th) NEWS FROM DOWN UNDER....

I recently had an email from ADAM TITMUSS.  Adam was a Beaver with 1st Sunningdale and he and his family moved to Australia just before Christmas in 2007.

 "Hi Hilary and all of you at Sunningdale Beavers & Cubs,

Just to let you know the move went OK and Adam is now a fully invested Cub at 1st Mona Vale Scout Group. He loves it, much more outdoor activities here but the weather and surroundings are set up for it more. He's been canoeing, hiking, swimming, rock climbing and camping in a thunderstorm. Unfortunately the campsite flooded so we had to pick him up at 1am!

(March 08) Last week at our meeting Matthew Ringshaw presented Robin and I with a poem. It is the first time we've ever had a poem written about the 1st Sunningdale Beavers, so I thought to honour this important event it should be published and celebrated on our website, so here it is....

BEAVERS ARE BEST     

 Beavers are best.

Beavers make me feel good.

We never take a rest because we

always try our best.

We always like a challenge

No matter what it is?

From building to recycling,

to joining in a quiz.

This is who we are and this is what we do,

So come along and join us and have a great time too!
